We experience an urgent issue with BrickForge: the custom dashboard does not show the correct template, but the homepage. This happens with users that have not an Administrator role.
We use a dashboard template that shows tutorials and support info, but is not visible now for our customers.
How did you setup the template permissions in the Bricks Settings? If they are limited only to Administrators, only Administrators will be able to access it 
I did not set any specific template permissions. The custom dashboard template always worked out of the box, but all of a sudden this issue arises. Maybe something changed on the Bricks permission side?
I checked the Bricks > Settings > Builder Access > Editor option. This is by default set to No Access (we use GutenBricks/Gutenberg for editting content). But if I set it to Edit Content, the custom template shows up properly. Thanks for pointing out this option!
