Ok, I see how I can add a background image to an element in the email designer. What I’m not able to figure out is how to leverage a background image that covers the entire email. Any suggestions please?
That will not work, as most email clients are not supporting background-image as expected. Emails cannot be created with modern approaches. They must be very minimal.

The Email Designer is only including functionality which is absolutely safe to use for common clients
