How to change Notification messages

When I submit a form there is a notification message (error / success). How can I change them? I have to translate it to german :slight_smile:

Have you found a solution for this? I’d like to have them in german, too.

Hi, and sorry for the late reply here.

If you’re using the Bricksforge Pro Forms element, the success and error messages are fully editable directly in the element settings, so you can translate them to German:

  • Success message: select the Form element → Content tab → Actions group → Success message.
  • Error message (email action): Content tab → Email group → Error message.

Each additional action that shows its own message has its own field too — for example Stripe and Mollie each have their own Success Message / Error Message under their respective groups, and Mailchimp/SendGrid have their pending/error message fields. So you can set every one of them to German independently per form.

For the individual field validation messages (e.g. “Please fill out this field” when a required field is empty), those come from the browser’s native validation and are shown automatically in the language the visitor’s browser is set to — so a German visitor already sees them in German.

If you meant a different message than the ones above, let me know exactly which one you see (a screenshot helps) and I’ll point you to the right setting.
