Localisation of error message

Where can I customize the error message “Please fill this field” ?

I tried to look at the form and field levels, but did not see where I can update this entry.

You can use the “Validation” group for that. If not used, the native browser validation text will be used.

In the Validation group (below), there are checkboxes where you can activate to show a message below the field. Is this activated in your case?
