I have created a component with a section that contains a form. The form is no longer submitted correctly: I get an error message “No form settings found.”.

components have just come out of beta fairly recently so not everything is compatible with them yet. I recommend using a template until components are supported.
Components have been in beta for quite some time, leaving all the time to adjust. Maybe you should keep a updated list of compatiblity issues with Bricks, rather than letting customers experience bugs…
In Beta yes, meaning possible breaking changes and since we’re not a giant team, it would’ve taken a lot of time away to keep up with all the changes until they are out of Beta 
You’re right that we probably should mention it somewhere though, apologies for the frustration!
Any updates on this? We like using ProForms but will probably switch to just basic Bricks Forms if this isn’t being developed.
I thought templates would be a good solution, but it seems like when we update a template, those changes are pushed to all instances of the template on the site. This is a pretty big issue, as it means our contact form that is on the bottom of almost every page needs to be manually updated on each page.
Components compatibility has been implemented and will be included with the next update
